One night luxury stay at the Marylebone Hotel

Back at the beginning of March we enjoyed a fantastic weekend away in London exploring Marylebone. Little did we know that not long after that weekend we would be in lockdown!

We couldn’t have had a more perfect hotel stay. Located in the heart of Marylebone is the Marylebone Hotel. The welcoming service started from when our taxi pulled up outside and one of the friendly doormen was getting our bags out the boot before we had even got out the taxi! This really set the tone for the service and friendliness at the Marylebone and I am happy to say it continued throughout our stay.

As we had planned this weekend away to explore Marylebone, everywhere we had booked and wanted to go was on the doorstep so it was easy for us to keep popping back to the hotel to drop off bags or freshen up.

Now onto our room, which was a one-bed luxury suite. It most certainly had the wow factor!

There was a separate living area with sofa, table and chairs and a desk. It was very spacious and airy, decorated in relaxing tones of seafoam green and light greys.

The beautiful bay window let in lots of natural light and gave fantastic views over Marylebone Lane.

We had a Nespresso machine, loose leaf tea, bottled water and a generously-stocked mini-bar, which was all restocked at turn down service.

Our bedroom felt luxurious and had an extremely comfy bed, again with large windows letting in lots of light.

The beautiful marble bathroom was huge with a separate large standalone shower and full size bath.

The toiletries were from luxury brand Malin + Goetz. From peppermint shampoo to rum bodywash, the scents were fun but also smelt really nice.

Extra toiletries provided were a hand sanitizer, mouthwash, body scrubber, shaving kit, dental kit, sowing kit and shoe shine.

Our room was truly fabulous and after a good night’s sleep we headed down to the 108 Brassiere for breakfast!

I couldn’t resist the large flakey croissants which were fresh and buttery! I ordered the eggs royale. The eggs were perfectly poached and the hollandaise had just the right amount of sharpness. It is my favorite breakfast which I order a lot and this one was perfect!

If you are looking for a luxurious stay in the heart of Marylebone this is the hotel for you. The beautiful rooms, the location and the friendly service ticked all the boxes for me.
