A luxury Suite at The Marylebone Hotel

When opting for a luxury hotel in London, you really cannot go wrong with The Marylebone Hotel.

We have stayed three times now and every time we get the same wonderful and friendly service. For us, this hotel has it all. The location is in the heart of Marylebone, but when inside you feel like you are in an oasis of calm and relaxation. We have dined at the onsite restaurant before, 108 Brasserie, which offers a great menu, and we have also enjoyed cocktails from the bar.

On our latest visit we stayed in one of the hotel’s luxury suites. This beautiful corner suite is so spacious and I love the design which gives you a separate living and sleeping area.

The living area gives wonderful views over Marylebone Lane. It has a comfortable sofa which is perfect for relaxing after spending the morning exploring the streets and enjoying a bit of retail therapy.

It has a fully-stocked mini bar, complimentary water, a Nespresso machine, Drury tea bags and fresh milk is provided, all of which can be replenished with the turndown service.

The marble bathroom has a large walk-in shower and separate bath, toiletries provided are by Malin + Gomez and I was also a big fan of the heated tiled floor in the bathroom.

There is plenty of wardrobe and drawer space in the room. The king bed gave Mr B and I a great night’s sleep, partly thanks to that night’s cocktails which were consumed and the very comfy bed!

We also enjoyed breakfast at the hotel. There is a small buffet with freshly made pastries, cereals, yoghurt, fruit, continental meats etc.

The menu offers a lovely choice and although I was tempted by the pancakes it was the classic eggs royale for me whilst Mr B opted for the smashed avocado on toast with feta, tomatoes and poached eggs.

For exploring the city with a luxurious base, or simply for an indulgent or romantic night away, the Marylebone ticks all the boxes for us when staying in our capital.
