Art Deco Imperial Hotel Prague

For our two-night stay in Prague we stayed at the Art Deco Imperial Hotel. This beautiful hotel was in the heart of the city. We loved the central location as it allowed us to walk everywhere.

The hotel is simply beautiful. The Art Deco influence is mirrored throughout the hotel, from the reception, the stairways and the rooms.

We stayed in one of the hotel’s junior suites.

The king-size bed with feature wall was not only pretty to look at, it was also extremely comfy.

The location of our room was in the corner of the building, meaning we had wonderful views of the streets below.

Our room had a small seating area as well as a desk and chair where next to it you could find the mini bar and complimentary tea and coffee. A Nespresso machine with pods was provided.

The marble bathroom had a bath with shower overhead, the floor was heated which I love and the full-size toiletries provided are by luxury brand Rituals.

Bathrobes and slippers are also provided in the room and a daily turndown service came to freshen our room.

My favourite thing about staying at the Art Deco Imperial? Breakfast was served in Café Imperial. This famous restaurant is extremely popular and gets booked up quickly, however, you do not need to worry about that when you are staying in the hotel and enjoying breakfast.

The room is simply stunning with its striking mosaic walls, columns and ceiling. Sipping on a well-made latte, you couldn’t help but sit back and admire the room.

Breakfast is from a buffet with the option of eggs made to order which are delivered to your table. The buffet had a lovely variety with a wonderful continental selection.

There were cereals, fruit and yoghurts with a selection of toppings.

A good selection of continental meats and cheese were available.

And I really enjoyed the variety of breads and pastries.

I was delighted when I saw they had the traditional Czech pastry Kolaches, which is a sweet pastry with a fruit centre. I definitely recommend trying these.

There were hot options on the buffet from sausages, eggs, mushrooms and potatoes, however, I opted to order an omelette with ham, mushroom and cheese. It was well filled and perfectly cooked.

For Mr B and I this five star hotel ticks all the boxes for exploring Prague.
